The Centre Pompidou opens its retrospective of Norman Foster in Paris
The Centre Pompidou, in Paris has opened an exhibition devoted to the work by British architect Norman Foster. It features drawings and models created by the architect during the past six decades.
The Norman Foster Foundation claims that the exhibition is the largest retrospective of Foster’s works ever. It features 130 of Foster’s projects, including the Hong Kong International Airport, the Hong Kong International Banking Corporation Headquarter, and the Apple Park.
Foster also exhibits designs that inspired his work, such as works by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. Fernand Leger is a French painter. Constantin Brancusi, a Romanian sculptor, and Italian painter Umberto Boccioni.
