In a randomized human trial, the calorie restriction intervention, which has been proven to slow biological aging, was able to show evidence that it could slow down the pace.

A team of international researchers, led by Columbia Aging Center from Columbia University, conducted a randomized controlled study that was the first of its kind.

Columbia University, a private Ivy League university located in New York City, was founded in 1754. It is the oldest higher education institution in New York, and the fifth oldest in the United States. Columbia University is the official name of this university.
