Some wealthy elites prefer transfusions of young plasma blood for anti-aging. Some people believe that young blood rejuvenates the organs of the body. A recent study by Columbia University, New York, suggests that anti-inflammatory medications can rejuvenate the human body and extend lifespans by decades. This could negate the need for blood transplants.

According to Emmanuelle Pasegue, Ph.D. director of Columbia Stem Cell Initiative who has researched how blood changes as we age, \”an aging system of blood, because it is a vector for a number of proteins, cytokines and cells has a great deal of negative consequences for the body.\”
