We don’t want to live forever, but we do want to stay young.
We may be better off viewing aging in terms of an inevitable process that has certain positive aspects, such as the wisdom gained through experience. This is a healthier way to view aging than a disease we wish to eliminate. If startups that are working to extend youth and to combat aging can actually create a potion to keep us forever young, we will have the opportunity to reflect on what humanity might lose if it ever finds the fountain.
We should prevent aging.
