The film on cryonics won a prize at an international film festival

The Killers is a short film on cryonics directed by Russian Vlad Kozlov who lives and works in the USA. It won the Best Director award at the 37th Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival.

RIIFF is a major international film festival that supports independent filmmakers. Since 1982, the festival is held every year during the second week in August. It lasts for six days. The festival’s primary goal is to discover new talent in independent cinema. During the existence of the festival, more than 5,426 independently produced films were selected from over 68,000 applications. The festival in Rhode Island USA, held between August 6 and August 11, 2019, featured 321 films representing 51 countries.

Cryonics was the main plot element in this film for the first. Sherilyn Nero and Franco Nero, two world-famous stars of the film Twin Peaks, play the main roles. Jeff DuJardin played the role of Max in the film. He had previously worked on Silent Life with Vlad Kozlov, a film about Rudolf Valentino, the silent film star. Vlad Kozlov is the director of the film, along with Natalia Dar and Yury Ponomarev. Dmitry Pristankov, David Roberson, and Natalia Dar are producers.
