Google memo leaked warns big tech could lose AI race against the little guys

The memo was published on SemiAnalysis’ website on Thursday. It quickly became a hot topic on AI forums. This included the HackerNews message boards and Reddit /r/MachineLearning, which boasts more than 2.6 millions members.
Google’s spokesperson confirmed that the memo is authentic, but stated that it represents the opinion of a senior employee and not necessarily the entire company.
