The Misconception about the Two Deaths: Examining Your Right to Decide How Long You Have Lived

Two deaths – a myth

We mean by life extension people who live much longer and are healthier than they currently do. We mean, for example, being 120 years old with the health of someone 30 years old. But wait, hasn’t someone who is 120 already lived more than their lifetime? Isn’t it past time for that person?

You haven’t really lived until you die, and you may not have checked off everything on your list. There is no age at which you can say that you’ve \”already lived your lifetime\” – not 80, 90 or 100. When people say someone has \”already live their life\”, they mean that in their opinion that person has already lived long enough and may as well die.

People who fear an ageless world tend to make statements like this. Personal, I’m more scared of a future where people can tell you that your life is over. I think you should be the one to decide if you have lived long enough. You.
