The Potential of NAD+ Replacement in the Fight Against Aging

NAD+ Repletion Has Potential to Fight Aging

The field of aging is not an exception. In the past decade, our understanding of aging is much better. We are now at the stage where the first anti-aging therapies are being developed. Some of these therapies might work, unlike the snake oils of years past. Today, we will look at NAD+ Repletion, a promising therapy.

NAD+ (nicotinamide-adenine-dinucleotide) has the potential to slow down some of the ageing processes in the short term. NAD+ declines significantly with age in humans and animals. Studies on mice showed that by restoring NAD+, they acted and looked like younger mice and increased their lifespan.
