Trent Stamp is the CEO of The Eisner Foundation (https://eisnerfoundation.org/), an organization founded by Jane and Michael D. Eisner (the former Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company), that identifies, advocates for, and invests in high-quality and innovative programs that unite multiple generations for the enrichment of our communities. Trent Stamp has held this position since 2008. Under his leadership, the Eisner Foundation was the first foundation in the U.S. to invest exclusively in intergenerational programs, earning many awards and honors, including Generation United’s Leadership Award.

Trent is one of America’s foremost experts on intergenerational programs and healthy aging. Recently, he has published on aging in Harvard Business Review and Forbes. He has also presented at South by Southwest, the American Society on Aging annual conference and other conferences. He is a member of Grantmakers in Aging and the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging Board of Academic and Policy Advisors.

Trent has held a number of positions in the past, including founding president of Charity Navigator (the nation’s most widely used evaluator for American charities and non-profits), vice president of communications for Teach For America and Presidential Management Fellow at the Social Security Administration. He was also a legislative assistant for U.S. Rep. Robert Matsui. Trent began his career in rural North Carolina as a Teach For America educator.

Trent is a regular expert analyst on national TV and radio programs, including The Today Show and Good Morning America.

Trent earned his Master’s degree in Public Policy at Duke University, and his B.A. Trent received his B.A. in Law and Society at the University of California Santa Barbara.
