UN advisor warns against the use of deepfakes
He says that policymakers must do more to safeguard civilians.

The news outlet reported that \”a digital twin is basically a copy of something in the real world… Deepfakes, on the other hand, are the mirror images of digital twins. This means that someone created a digital version without permission, and often for malicious reasons, to fool somebody.\” Neil Sahota from California, an AI expert who served as a UN AI advisor, explained the story.
