Ageing happens
Dr. Alvaro Macieira Coelho will be speaking today. He will discuss how aging is the result of thermodynamics, entropy, and other factors. Simply put, aging is a default state for most species.
We hosted the Ending Age Related Diseases 2018 Conference at the Cooper Union in New York City earlier this year. The conference was aimed at bringing together the worlds for research and investment within the rejuvenation field of biotechnology. It featured a variety of panels and talks that focused on both research and investments.
Dr. Alvaro Macieira Coelho, a French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) research director. He talked about aging as the default behavior, and how life is a balance of entropy versus the availability free energy. In essence, the second law dictates that all species age and change as their ability resist entropy decreases.
