Jeanne Calment’s fame is a good example of this. She was validated as having died in 1997, three years older than other cases. Zak’s investigations, which were just published, have cast doubt on Calment’s age when she died, and give credence to the possibility that her daughter could be a substitute for her. Aubrey de Grey says that Zak will give the latest updates to this controversial and rapidly evolving research.
