Cellvie’s founders wondered if they could leverage, as they put, one of the cornerstones in evolution to replace and enhance damaged mitochondria. The concept of Therapeutic Mitochondria Transplantation came to be. TMT has the potential to sustainably affect mitochondria function and reinvigorate or amplify the cellular metabolism. Cellvie, which raised $5 million from Kizoo, is now on its way to making that possibility a reality.
