Up to 80% of the problem-solving abilities of household robots can be improved by an AI system
Researchers at MIT have developed PIGINet – a system designed to improve the problem-solving abilities of robots in households, reducing planning times by up to 80 percent.
According to a Friday press release from the institution, this is what they have said.
Normal conditions require household robots to follow predefined tasks. This is not always appropriate for changing or diverse environments. PIGINet is a neural net that, according to MIT, takes into account \”Plans Images Goals and Initial Facts\” before predicting the likelihood that a task can be refined.
