New longevity clinic offers a ‘customized’ health plan for patients to slow down ageing
SINGAPORE – A new longevity clinic at Alexandra Hospital, where doctors will diagnose healthy people’s biological age before providing a tailored plan to slow down ageing, is currently being established. It is expected to be open early next year.
The Straits Times reported that Professor Andrea Maier (co-director of NUHS Centre for Healthy Longevity) told The Straits Times on the opening day of the Centre, it will be the country’s first public funded outpatient clinic for longevity medicine.
The clinic’s staff will include internal medicine specialists such as Prof Maier. Prof Maier is also the founder president of the International Longevity Medicine Society, which was established last month.
