A press release from Abu Dhabi’s technology holding group G42 announced the unveiling of the world’s most powerful supercomputer, Condor Galaxy-1, which boasts 54 million cores with a processing power of four exaflops. The supercomputer will be located in Santa Clara and operated by Cerebras. This AI company based in the US is operating under US law.
Supercomputers are in high demand as artificial intelligence (AI), a technology that is rapidly gaining popularity, becomes more prevalent. They can be used to train business models. Microsoft, for example, has offered to rent out the expensive infrastructure to companies.
