Top States for AI Jobs
Many articles have been written about the fear that artificial intelligence will destroy jobs in the economy. Although some of these fears are well-founded the interest in AI innovations is also creating new jobs.
This graph visualizes data from Lightcast – a labor market analysis firm – which shows the number of AI related jobs posted in each state during 2022.
Total 795 624 AI jobs were posted in total throughout the year. Of these, 469 925 (59%) were among the top 10. Below is a table that includes the full count.
