Saudi Arabia’s royal family led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz has announced the creation of a non profit research foundation that will spend $1 billion from the country’s considerable oil revenue to support anti-aging research. Saudi Arabia will be the largest financial contributor for longevity research if such funding is realized.
Saudi Arabia’s royal family wants to distribute the money through a non profit organisation, the Hevolution Foundation 0. It was founded by Dr Mehmood Khan, formerly from the Mayo Clinic. Dr Khan’s formal introduction of the Hevolution Foundation was as follows.
