Wimbledon uses IBM technology to power AI commentary online
This year, we are introducing new features which use AI in order to help fans gain greater insight and access commentary via our match highlights videos.
According to a recent press release, Wimbledon, the most prestigious tennis event in the world will revolutionize its coverage by introducing artificial-intelligence powered commentary and analysis. The All England Club and tech giant IBM have partnered to provide fans with a unique experience by integrating AI-generated captions and audio commentary into online highlight videos.
Watson AI, IBM’s cutting-edge AI platform, has been trained to play tennis using its advanced Watson AI platform.
