NASA’s humanoid robotic robot is headed to Australia for testing
According to a NASA press release published on Thursday, this is the case.
Woodside Energy will test and evaluate the software of the machine and provide feedback and data to NASA, particularly in relation to developing remote mobile manipulation capabilities that can be used to remotely care for unmanned and offshore energy installations.
\”Valkyrie\” will improve robotic remote operation capabilities that have the potential to increase the efficiency of Woodside’s offshore and remote operations, while increasing the safety for its personnel as well as the environment. NASA stated that the new capabilities could also be used for NASA’s Artemis mission and other Earth-based robotics goals.
